As per the latest staement of Union Minister of State (independent charge) DrJitendra Singh, NRA is expected to conduct Common Eligibility Test (CET) from September 2021 onwards. At least 2.5 crore job aspirants across the country are likely to benefit from a common entrance test (CET) exam to be organised by the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) for various government departments to fill up vacant posts.
NRA CET 2021: Cabinet Approve Setting-Up of NRA
The Union Cabinet has given its nod for the setup of a National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to streamline the hiring process by conducting a CET. The National Recruitment Agency (NRA) will be nodal agency to conduct CET every year. The CET will replace the prelims level tests conducted by the different agencies for the recruitment of non-gazetted posts.

Exams To Be Subsumed Under CET
All the prelims exams of Group B and C posts will be subsumed into a single common eligibility test (CET). The National Recruitment Agency will initially aim at replacing the preliminary exams of Group B and C posts conducted by three government agencies namely:

NRA CET 2021: Test Centers
There is a piece of good news for the students who belong to a remote location of the country. There will be at least one or more than one center in a district depending on the students appearing for the exam. Candidates will not need to go too far places to attempt the exam.
