The Staff Selection Commission recently announced an exam for recruitment of Junior Engineers (JE) Group 'B' Non-Gazetted posts. The SSC will hold this examination in two phases. While the 1st phase (Paper I), will be an Objective exam, the 2nd Phase (Paper II) will be a written exam. If you score equal to or higher than minimum qualifying marks (to be decided by SSC), you will qualify for Paper II. There will be no further interview in the SSC JE Exam for the purpose of selection.
Your eligibility to the SSC JE Exam depends upon two things:Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c) and (d) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Note-I: Candidates who have not acquired/will not acquire the educational qualification will not be eligible and need not apply.
Note-II: Ex who have done various courses from Armed Forces which are certified by competent Authority to be equivalent to Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering are eligible to appear in the Examination.
